History

Dogwood Literacy Council was founded and incorporated in 1990. Our mission is to provide free instruction in speaking, reading, and writing English to adults who wish to learn English or improve their literacy skills. Classrooms

We have two main classrooms that can accommodate any class size. In each of these classrooms, there are two whiteboards for tutors to use. There is a variety of different resources and textbooks to choose from as well as extra material for students.

Each class size varies between the time of day and proficiency.

Computer Lab

There is also a computer lab available to our students. Students can use this lab for additional learning if needed.
